Veterinarian- Part-Time, Full-Time ( Currently looking for part-time, on-call for the Sacramento area, and Full time in other locations- Napa/Solano, Fresno, Redding, Chico)

Company information: Beloved Pet Mobile Vet is a palliative medicine and end-of-life care house call service for small animals/companion animals. They are located in Sacramento but can expand to service other areas. I am currently looking for the Sacramento area but will consider other areas of service. Interested in expanding to Napa, Fresno, Chico, Bakersfield, Redding, or surrounding areas. (These areas could be full time)

Description of role: We are looking for part-time or full-time veterinarians who want to provide end-of-life care for animals in the comfort of their own homes. This may expand into a full-time position for the right person, and may have further options for buy-in. We are looking for compassionate individuals who want to learn more about end-of-life care and palliative medicine. Working with people on their needs and priorities for their animals, active listening, and emergency medicine is a plus.

Tasks: Provide in-home euthanasia. Provide palliative medicine and consultations for end-of-life care of animals with terminal diseases. Provide non-judgmental, active listening to provide a personalized care plan for animals.

Requirements: Ideal candidates are experienced veterinarians with at least one year of experience; 2-5 years of experience in general or emergency practice is optimal. New graduates are considered if they are also employed at another veterinary practice.

Skills and certifications: DVM, Additional certifications in hospice and palliative care, pain management, or grief counseling a plus.

Work schedule: Quality of Life is essential to us, and the schedule can be flexible with your schedule.

Veterinary Assistant/Client Caregiver (Not currently open- but taking resumes)

Looking for a Veterinary receptionist/assistant for a growing company. If you believe you are a compassionate, organized, and creative human being looking for a position to grow into living your best job, this may be the position for you. This part-time position could work into a full-time position eventually. I prefer Veterinary experience but will hire the right person. Need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing to have a flexible schedule. Able to handle phone calls compassionately, spend time with paperwork and veterinarians, and be prepared to make house calls with a veterinarian. Must have a vehicle and proof of insurance.

Job Type: Part-time, possibly working to a full-time position.
