It was the hardest decision of my life. I didn't want my precious Schnauzer, Katie to go; I struggled for weeks and finally made the appointment. Dr. Hendrix showed up on time and, of coarse, the tears flowed and flowed. She took her time to discuss the situation with me, checked Katie over and we continued to talk. She explained what to expect with a brain tumor and how we could do hospice and maybe extend her life a month or two. I just wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, I loved her so very much. Dr. Hendrix continued to ask me questions trying to determine if Katie was in pain, she was the most stoic dog I've ever owned and never, ever complained. I came to the conclusion the time was right, doing this unselfish act for the best dog I've ever owned. More tears. Dr. Hendrix explained the entire procedure, it was a very peaceful transition for my Katie-girl. Heartbreaking for me, more tears. She left us alone so I could finish my good-byes. Dr. Hendrix treated both Katie and I with total respect and genuine concern. She wrapped Katie in a blanket and put her into a bed in the back of her vehicle, with a pillow! I wouldn't have wanted this handled any other way. Thank you, Dr. Lynn for filling a need and being the person you are. I am blessed to have found you. Jeanine Holdener
4/25/16-Thank you Jeanine. I am blessed to know you. LH
Thank you for the sympathy card, we received it early last week but were in no condition to respond. Allie’s passing took us more (emotionally) by surprise than we though it would and so we are just now slowly getting ourselves back to normal. And, while this was an extremely difficult situation for us, I couldn’t be more satisfied that you were referred to us. Not only was Allie able go comfortably, in her own home and in the presence of those who loved her most, but your “bedside manner” was incredible. The level of empathy and compassion you have, not only for Allie, but for the blubbering human family she left behind, made an extremely difficult situation bearable.
Thank you for the patience and kindness in allowing us to take our time saying goodbye to Allie. I know she knew how loved she was as she passed from this world to the next. I have mentioned you to many of our friends and colleagues and will be eternally grateful for the services provided to all of us.With many thanks and much admiration,

Carrie and Claire Tucker-Pollard said: June 20th, 2014 4:16 pm Finally reaching the point of knowing it was time to bid our beloved 18-year-old cat, Violet, good-bye was tough. We knew we would not put the old girl through the indignity of hauling her to a cold and sterile vet, so we started looking into in-home. We also wanted our nearly 10 year-old boy to be with us. Made a couple of calls and found an immediate emotional connection with Dr Lynn--she understands and she cares. Dr. Lynn came the following day (we just wanted one more night) and was warm, compassionate, and she explained everything. She took her time, and allowed us to take ours. As horrible as making the decision was, finding Dr. Lynn was a blessing. We appreciated the dignity Dr Lynn afforded both of our cats and would recommend her service to anyone who loves their furry kids when their time comes. Thank you, Dr Lynn.
Adele Seelke said: February 13th, 2014 8:57 pm Dr. Hendrix was wonderful when we put our beloved cat Abby to sleep. Dr Hendrix talked with us while we told stories about Abby, she gave Abby treats, and allowed us to say goodbye in our own time. She was kind, gentle, and considerate of our feelings and Abby's comfort. We cannot say enough good things about her. She made this sad experience a little easier for all of us. We are so grateful for all of her help.

She explained each step.. And comforted all of us! I pray to God that she does what she does and it cannot be easy seeing everyone crying . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts... You made our baby Golden so comfortable and took the pain away from all of us!! We can't express our thanks enough. Xoxo
L Hughes said: September 21st, 2013 3:02 pm Dr. Hendrix came quickly when our wonderful dog Bliss, at sixteen and a half years of age, needed to be put down. We appreciated her unhurried and considerate approach, and Bliss went gently. That is what is needed when the end comes. My husband and I thank Dr. Hendrix and recommend her to others. Bev Howell said: February 11th, 2013 10:31 am Both fortunately and unfortunately, we found Dr. Lynn Hendrix. Unfortunately, because it meant we had to say goodbye to our wonderful kitties Charlie and Bailey! We had to call her unexpectantly on Dec 21st for our 9 year old Charlie. And, again, so soon after our loss of Charlie, on Jan 4th for our 15 year old Bailey. They were both such a huge part of our family and are dearly missed! So fortunately for us and for them we heard of Dr. Hendrix. She was so kind, gentle, patient, and loving. These kitties were so special to us and making these decisions is so terribly hard, Dr. Lynn helped make it very loving & kind process. Our guys knew they were home surrounded by love when they left us. Thank you Dr. Hendrix!
Jocelyn Littlejohn said: December 10th, 2012 9:15 am I am ever grateful for Dr. Hendrix. Our dog, Pepe, had lymphoma and went "downhill" very quickly over the weekend. I knew he wouldn't last until Monday and we didn't want him to suffer. I made several calls, but many vets did not work on weekends or were not available. Dr. Hendrix was able to come on Sunday. She was patient, loving, thoughtful. We were able to take our time in saying goodbye to our dear friend. THAT is the way it should be done... She also sent a card adding how brave our girls were for being with Pepe at that time. Many, many, many thanks... and that doesn't quite express it enough.

Dino and Leah Tramontini said: July 1st, 2012 10:26 am We called Dr. Hendrix to put down our 20-year-old cat in a short notice, she came as soon as she could and guided us through the procedure and stayed until late (11pm!) She is amazing and very compationate. Without her help, we wouldn't have been able to go through our beloved cat's passing. We are still heart broken but knowing Buddy is in peace and was dealt by a gentle hand, it's very comforting. Thanks so much! Dr. Hendrix, we are grateful that we have found you!
Karen D. said: June 19th, 2012 4:10 pm Dr. Hendrix helped us when our beloved beagle Truman needed to be put down, and I can't even put into words how comforting and amazing she was. I am still heartbroken when I think about how much I miss Truman, but Dr. Hendrix helped us to get through it, and to make sure that Truman had the peaceful, loving end of life that he deserved. I can't recommend Dr. Hendrix enough.
Shelley Boone said: June 13th, 2012 5:46 am We knew it was coming for awhile as Fred, my 116 pound malamute's arthritis got worse. When he literally could not get up at all one day and bladder and bowel problems got worse, we knew it was time. I found Dr Hendrix's website On the internet, called and she came out that night. We were so blessed to have found her. In the two hours she was at our home, she explained the whole procedure to us, Made Fred comfortable and he left this life in the home he loved. We were able there to sing him his song, and put our arms around him as he gently left this earth. It was gentle and peaceful! The day I had been dreading was made so much easier by Dr Hendrix. She was gentle with him and kind and compassionate with us. I will be forever grateful to her for compassion and kindness!
Tami Shaw said: April 16th, 2012 8:58 pm Dr. Lynn's expertise and knowledge has made all the difference in caring for two of our older kitties. I held the belief that animals past a certain age couldn't be put under and our 18 yer old kitty, in addition to two uti's in a row, had a few bad teeth. Once we got the UTI under control, we were able to get the teeth taken care of and this kitty is on the mend as a result, doing great. Dr.Lynn followed up on her blood work and went out of her way to get the antibiotics we needed. Additionally, we have another kitty with heart failure and Dr. Lynn, with her knowledge in hospice care, has given us information to assist as we move forward, going out of her way to make sure she has lasiks, should we need it. I feel so fortunate that she's a multi-tasking, (safe:), driver who answered our call that day - we're very lucky to have her.

Rayna Tillinghast said: March 3rd, 2012 2:53 pm A few weeks ago we had to put down my 16 year old cat, Artemis. I was absolutely devastated ( I had her since I was 5 years old and she moved up to college with me). When Dr. Hendrix arrived at the house she did a quick exam and right before we were about to give her the medication to put her to sleep, Artemis died on her own. Dr. Hendrix arrived just in time to calmly walk us through what was happening step by step. I never do reviews, but Dr. Hendrix was so amazing, it would be a crime not to say something. She was absolutely phenomenal. She made the entire process much more tolerable and even though it was the first time I had met her, I felt like I had know her for years. She was so compassionate and caring. Without her, this whole process would have been so much more difficult and traumatic. She even came and hand delivered Artemis's ashes to us a week or so later and a few days after that we received a wonderful personalized card in the mail from her expressing her condolences for our loss. I would recommend Dr. Hendrix to everyone who has to go through putting their pet to sleep. Thank you so much Dr. Hendrix for everything you did for us and our kitty, you are amazing.
Dr Lynn Hendrix said: December 18th, 2011 1:52 pm Dear Dr. Hendrix, This note is well overdue but your services are not forgotten. It seems like yesterday when our German Shepard, Lobo boy, was still around. Jairo and I could not have had the strength to put Lobo down without your patience, understanding and guidance. You gave us well informed options and walked us through our ultimate decision to allow Lobo the peace that he so deserved. We really wanted to just say Thank You for being there with us through this process. We are especially content that we were able to have you come to our home, a place that Lobo loved. While it has been a difficult journey for us both, we are comforted knowing that Lobo is now pain free and walking and running with family and friends who have gone on before us. Your soft and gentle manner made for a very healing environment and we appreciated that. We did not feel rushed or pressured in any way. I am amazed that you stayed with us for so long? Again, Thank You! Your service was and will always be appreciated and thought of warmly. Thank you so much!.. Renee and Jairo Published with the permission of the owner.
Denise Faria said: December 7th, 2011 9:08 pm We met Dr. Lynn Hendrix on Nov 30th when she came to see our big yellow baby Daisy, a 105 lb. yellow lab. I called a in home vet because Daisy has very bad knee problems and getting her to a vets office is painful for her. Not only did she give Daisy her regular shots, tested her for heartworm but also gave us a new way to better treat her pain. That is such a comfort to us to know we have Dr. Hendrix for Daisy now and the rest of her life as well. We also had just rescued a dog and Dr. Hendrix checked her out and gave us valuable information about all the care she was going to need. I am so glad I found Dr. Hendrix. She is so kind and compassionate and you can just feel her love for our 4 legged children. Thank you so much for this great and much needed service. We will talk to you soon Dr. Lynn.
Mary Ann and Victor Jung said: December 4th, 2011 9:02 am Our wonderful yellow Lab, Traci recently had to be put to sleep. She was 13 and a half, a career change guide dog, beloved by all who knew her including friends and neighbors. Dr. Lynn Hendrix of Beloved Pet Mobile Pet had been caring for her during the final months, always available and when the time approached, told us we could call her anytime day or night. She was as true as her word. On her last day, Traci's health unexpectedly deteriorated very rapidly. We thought about waiting until the next day, but when evening approached it was clear Traci was going to have a troubled sleep. We couldn't bear her to have to endure that and called Dr. Hendrix who came at 11:00 at night to put Traci to sleep on her favorite bed and did so with loving compassion. Afterwards she stayed to console us. It was so comforting not to have had to take Traci to an office where even with the best of intentions, she would have been put to sleep on a metal slab and then we would have had to leave immediately so the office business could go on. Dr. Hendrix has our deepest thanks and regard and we recommend her services in the highest degree.
Marion Barnett said: September 28th, 2011 7:39 pm Making the connection with your compassionate care was such good fortune. On the evening our 18 year old cat Blizzard suffered a stroke it was only a matter of minutes until you came and helped end his discomfort. If we hadn't had a prior consultation we would have been caught in an emotional moment and put him through much more trauma than was needed. His passing was gentle, respectful and at home! Your work is so appreciated.
